This week, I decided to spend some time on Airtable, in particular to reorganize and clean up some of the bases that I use on a daily basis. Airtable has certainly become one of my favorite tools and it now paces my personal life (especially for managing my finances) as well as my professional life (to do list and CRM).
If you haven't had the opportunity to discover Airtable yet or only in a very superficial way, I invite you to follow the training The Essential Guide to Airtable published by Aron Korenblit.
An excellent gateway to discover Airtable and its main features. Aron uses concrete examples of uses of Airtable (for example as CRM) and thus makes it possible to realize the rather incredible potential of this tool. One of the sections is particularly devoted to the features available only with a Premium account, a good way to decide whether or not to take the plunge (the temptation is great for me :)).
For the record, Aron joined the Airtable teams a few months ago. I highly recommend you to take a look at this training, especially since it is currently free, just register by leaving your email.

🧰 Product
Like Stacker, Pory.io allows you to turn an Airtable database into a website in a few minutes. Pory's FREE plan currently offers an unlimited number of sites. The STARTUP plan at $ 9 per month allows, among other things, to remove the branding and connect your custom domain name. In any case, competition is starting to become very important in the niche of app builders via Airtable / Google Sheets.
⌨ Projects
Discovered by chance in my Twitter feed, Content Writing Jobs is a job board specializing in content writing jobs (as you could have guessed by the name). The site brings together several jobs with different types of contracts (full-time, freelance). The following tools were used to put this project online:
Webflow for the creation of the website and the visual interface
Airtable for the creation of the database and for the form which allows posting a job advertisement
ConvertKit for newsletter management
Integromat for automation and connection between all the different tools
⚒ Tutorials
Morning Brew is one of the most popular business newsletters in the world (chances are many of you are already reading it on a daily basis). Morning Brew reached out to Makerpad to see if they could help the Morning Brew sales teams to be more efficient in their daily work. Makerpad has reviewed in detail all the current processes of salespeople, from lead generation on LinkedIn to email prospecting. Morning Brew is also monitoring how their competitors are sponsoring their content to identify potential new sponsors for Morning Brew.
The goal: automate as many repetitive tasks as possible to make salespeople more productive
The result: more than 10 hours of productivity gained each week thanks to the implementation of new tools including Hunter.io, Zapier or Reply.io
All details are available on the Makerpad blog
Colt Steele has posted a +2hours video on Youtube serving as an introductory course in JavaScript. We know that no-code tools are extremely powerful and allow people with no technical knowledge to launch projects. However, having some knowledge and skills in Javascript in particular can really give another dimension to your no-code projects, specially on tools such as Airtable or Webflow. Last year, I took a course on Udemy: The Web Developer Bootcamp. Over 45 hours of content to learn the basics of web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.). In my opinion, Colt Steele is really an excellent teacher and this video dedicated to JavaScript is therefore a very good entry point for people wishing to know more about this programming language.
